No matter your situation—private health plan, Medicare benefits, limited or no insurance coverage—we can help you find an affordable hyaluronic acid (HA) therapy to treat your osteoarthritis (OA) knee pain.
If you have Medicare Part B
If you have private insurance or a Medicare Advantage Plan:
You should know that our HA therapies have preferred coverage from many of the largest commercial insurers and pharmacy benefit managers. And many smaller health plans cover our therapies, too.
Preferred coverage means you may have lower—or no—out-of-pocket costs for:

If you have no insurance or limited benefits:
You may purchase any of our HA therapies directly from Bioventus, and the product will be shipped to your doctor.
SUPARTZ FX may be an especially good option. It is more affordable as a self-pay option for people who are uninsured or have limited insurance.
Next steps:
After your doctor’s office confirms the best HA therapy for you, CareMed Specialty Pharmacy will call you for payment. You may pay by credit card, check, flexible savings account, or health savings account.
Then, the pharmacy will send the HA to your doctor, who will contact you to schedule your appointments.
How does it work?
Step 1: Talk with your doctor about HA therapy to treat your OA knee pain.
- Need a doctor? Find one near you
Step 2: If HA therapy is right for you, your doctor’s office can check your plan’s benefits.
Step 3: Your doctor will write a prescription and send it to the pharmacy.
- You insurance may require a specialty pharmacy to fill the prescription. If so, the pharmacy may call you to confirm the order. So, be sure your doctor has your up-to-date contact information to pass along to the pharmacy.
Step 4: Make an appointment to receive your HA treatment right in your doctor’s office.
